About the Role
In this role, you will report to our Head of Sales & Business Development and be part of the Sales & Marketing team. The position is based in Stockholm and will focus on growth towards Nordic managers. As a Director you will work both independently and with the team to address the market with a deep understanding of the clients’ need and requests.
As Sales Director you will be in contact and develop relationships with key players within the fund industry in Sweden and the Nordics as well as internally in the Permian organisation. For the right candidate the position will offer a wide range of responsibilities with room for great professional development, knowledge and a competitive compensation package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth by developing and executing strategic initiatives to expand the customer base and achieve company objectives
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through exceptional service and understanding of client needs
- Managing the entire sales process, from prospecting and client meetings to proposal negotiations and contract signing
- Product knowledge, maintaining an in-depth understanding of Permian's products and services
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure tailored solutions for customers
- Coordinate handover from sales to client service team during start-up and implementations for new clients
- Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, staying ahead of industry trends and competition
- Analyse sales data and industry trends to forecast and develop strategies
- Identifying business development initiatives and good business collaboration partners
- Participate in industry events, networks and conferences to strengthen market presence
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of proven experience within sales in the finance sector, and preferably an operational role within the finance sector prior to working with sales
- Preferably well connected in the alternative fund industry
- Preferably a solid understanding of the AIFMD framework and fund structures
- Strong track record of success in driving sales growth
- Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the finance industry's dynamics
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Experienced in marketing and in selling professional services incl. running sales processes, negotiations and closing deals towards CFO, CEO and board levels
- Experience from fund manager organisations, investor relations management, M&A, consulting, auditing or financial institutions is an advantage
- Experienced in working pan-Nordic is an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- University Degree in Business Administration or other relevant for the role
- Fluent in Swedish or Norwegian and English in speech and writing
