With the opening of the Copenhagen office, the Business development and Fund administration specialist will be crucial in building and developing the business in Denmark and overseeing the office.
We are seeking a driven and ambitious professional with solid fund administration experience and a strong commercial mindset. The ideal candidate combines a passion for winning new clients with the motivation to build, develop, deliver and scale our operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape Permian’s presence in Denmark and play a key role in how we serve the Danish market.
Key responsibilities
Business Development and Leadership:
- Drive the Danish Permian office’s growth strategy, strengthening our market position and accelerating client acquisition.
- Elevate the firm’s profile in Denmark by building strong industry relationships and generating new business opportunities
- Take ownership of financial performance, setting and delivering on budgets, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and profitability.
- Shape and implement an efficient local operating model that promotes excellence in client delivery and aligns with Group priorities.
- Build, inspire, lead, and develop colleagues to build a high-performing, collaborative local team.
- Act as the primary representative of the Danish business within the Permian Management Team, ensuring alignment and influence across the wider organisation.
Fund administration specialist:
- Overall accountability for Permian’s deliveries to clients, ensuring the highest service level and quality and fostering strong, long-term client relationships
- Prepare and review cash flow transactions, such as equity transactions, dividend distributions, capital increases.
- Prepare and review periodic reports for investors, calculate key figures, and produce cash flow and management reports facilitating decision-making for the client.
- Handle practical and operational tasks, including regulatory reporting to authorities such as the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority and the Danish Tax Agency.
- Work closely with colleagues in the Danish team and collaborate with specialist teams across the wider Group to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions, services and deliveries to our clients
Your profile
- 7+ years of experience within relevant market/operations, comprising comprehensive operational fund administration experience, business development and sales in the finance sector, or similar.
- A solid understanding of the AIFMD framework and AIF fund structures
- Well-connected in the alternative fund industry and good at networking
- Strong track record of success in driving sales growth
- Strategic thinker with an understanding of the finance industry's dynamics
- Relevant background could be: similar position at a fund administration company, experience from fund manager organisations, investor relations management, M&A, consulting, auditing or financial institutions.
- Experience in working pan-Nordic is an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are needed
- A master’s degree in Business Administration or similar relevant for this role
- Fluent in Danish and English in speech and writing
In this role you will report to Head of Funds - Onshore. Travel will be required from time to time.
