About the role
As a Client Success Director at Permian, you will take on a senior role within our Operations of Fund Administration, Accounting and Advisory team. You will be responsible for ensuring the satisfaction, retention and long-term growth of our most valuable clients. The role combines hands-on operational responsibilities with strong client relationship management. In this position, you will report directly to the Country Head & Head of Fund Administration and Accounting.
In the role of Client Success Director, you will complement the existing Client Responsible and Client Team, and you may act as an interim point of contact during transitions or at the start of new client engagements.
You will work closely with our Client delivery teams and Business Development/Sales to serve as a trusted advisor to key clients, ensure high-quality service delivery, identify opportunities to extend the value of our services, and contribute to the company’s overall growth through strong client partnerships.
The role also includes acting as a Key Relationship Manager for selected strategic accounts, or serving as a deputy to an assigned relationship owner, ensuring we maintain close, proactive and long-term client relationships.
Client Relationship Management (50%)
Serve as a Key Relationship Manager or deputy for designated strategic and high-value clients.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders and decision-makers.
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through regular touch-points, governance meetings, and proactive communication.
Understand client strategies, operating models, and future needs to position our services effectively.
Identify and carry out business opportunities within existing client portfolios and support
commercial negotiations and contract signings for additional services
Drive client retention initiatives and ensure risks to relationships are identified early and mitigated.
Represent the client internally and ensure alignment between the client’s expectations and our service delivery
Provide structured insight to the Business Development function by feeding in client feedback, emerging needs, market signals, and opportunities for new or enhanced products and services. Assist in developing such products and services and related frameworks.
Service Delivery & Production (50%)
Participate in the delivery of fund administration and/or accounting services with chargeable client time at a senior level as a top up of the core day to day team and client relationship manager, solving the more complex tasks and communication with the client.
Work closely with operational teams to ensure high-quality service delivery for assigned clients.
Support onboarding and transitions for new services, structures, or processes within key accounts
Provide senior expertise in handling complex client situations, escalations, and operational challenges across all clients.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within production functions, ensuring scalability/efficiency and quality.
Strategic and Cross-Functional Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Country Head and management team on strategic client planning and resource prioritisation.
Support commercial and operational planning for key clients, including pricing, SLAs, and scope development.
Participate in internal governance forums, client review meetings, and strategic planning workshops.
Serve as a senior ambassador for company values, culture, and client-centricity.
Train and mentor Client Responsibles
Qualifications & Experience
8+ years of experience in fund administration, financial services, or a related field.
Strong understanding of private capital structures, fund operations, and client delivery models.
Proven experience managing senior client relationships, ideally with key or strategic accounts.
Demonstrated ability to identify commercial opportunities and drive revenue growth within existing accounts.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage confidently at senior levels.
Experience in operational roles with measurable delivery responsibilities (chargeable time, deadlines, processes).
Ability to work effectively across departments and lead through influence in a matrix environment
