Are you Permian’s next Junior Compliance Associate?

Permian is looking for a Junior Compliance Associate with an interest in financial regulatory issues. In this role, you will work broadly on compliance-related affairs within the Permian group.

In your role as Junior Compliance Associate, you will:

• Assist our internal Compliance Officer in performing controls and writing reports to management and the board.

• Support senior staff with performing compliance controls and writing reports as part of their external compliance assignments. 

• Keep our internal policies and procedures up-to-date and be the go-to-person in case of questions from staff.

• Monitor compliance with internal policies and procedures.

• Prepare annual monitoring programs and training programs jointly together with the compliance- legal- and risk teams at Permian and Highvern.

• Work on GDPR-related matters and other compliance and regulatory matters together with the legal and compliance team as delegated by the manager or Head of Advisory & Regulatory Affairs from time to time.

The position is based in our Oslo office, where you will be part of the advisory team responsible for risk, compliance, and legal aspects across both Norway and Sweden.

Reporting

The role is part of Permian’s Regulatory & Advisory group and reports to the Head of Legal and Compliance who is based in Stockholm.

Qualifications and characteristics

• Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or Law

• Fluency in both Norwegian and English

• Being proactive and having a strong attention to detail and a structured approach to tasks is essential to the role.
