Technology Administrator

As Technology Administrator for the Permian and Highvern group based in the Swedish office, you will be responsible for carrying out group-wide user account administration, resolving helpdesk tickets, maintaining asset registers, and providing local desktop support. This is a hands-on operational role focused on delivering timely, practical support to users, completing agreed technology processes accurately, and escalating more complex issues where required. You’ll work closely with global colleagues while taking day-to-day ownership of local support and assigned group-wide administration tasks. In this role you report to the Business Systems Manager (Jersey)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
User Account Administration
· Carry out joiner, mover, and leaver processes across all systems in line with agreed policy and process frameworks.
· Maintain and audit user access rights, ensuring compliance with security policies including ISAE3402 controls.
· Follow agreed identity and access management practices consistently.
· Update user administration records and complete process changes as instructed.
Helpdesk & Application Support
· Log, triage, and resolve group-wide helpdesk tickets, escalating where appropriate.
· Provide 1st/2nd line support for business applications (e.g., NavOne, Diligent, Xodosign, iManage, Microsoft Office).
· Record recurring issues clearly and support agreed fixes or workarounds.
Local Desktop & Infrastructure Support
Install, configure, and maintain desktop, laptop, and meeting room equipment.
Ensure timely patching, updates, and resolution of technical or security issues.
Deliver proactive support and training to local users.
Technology Asset Management
Maintain accurate records of global IT assets including hardware and software.
Manage asset lifecycle from procurement to retirement.
Support audits and ensure compliance with asset management policies.
Scope
Service delivery responsibilities span all Highvern and Permian jurisdictions.
Operational duties relate specifically to the Technology Team, with a focus on completing assigned support and administration tasks accurately and on time.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
· Experience working within an internal IT department and providing 1st line support to internal users, preferably within a financial services environment.
· Strong experience in user account administration and access control.
· Proven ability to resolve helpdesk tickets and technical issues directly, escalating more complex matters when required.
· Hands-on experience with desktop hardware, software, and infrastructure support.
· Experience in technology asset management and operational processes.
· ITIL Foundation certification (preferred).
· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
· Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
